888 Crushing and Screening Equipment, based in Perth, WA, has recently supplied and installed a Pair of 46m (150ft) Long Superior Industries Powerstacker Conveyors at an Iron Ore Mine in WA.

The Powerstacker conveyors are installed with Hydraulic Luffing capability for easier maintenance and also to control dust emmissions. The Hydraulic Powered Radial drive allows for increased stacking capability.

In this application, these Impressive TWIN Powerstackers are capable of handling up to 800tph each with a90 degrees radial stacking capacity of up to 60,000 tonnes with each conveyor.

Fitted with the patented FD Axle, set up of the conveyors from transport mode to radial stacking mode is accomplished in only a few minutes.

The Powerstacker Conveyors are used  in this application in conjunction with a Pair of Equally Impressive McCloskey R230 (20X6) Heavy Duty Reclaimer Screens, fitted with apron feeders.

Using the McCloskey R230 reclaimers as a primary screen, extremely high fines scalping is achieved prior to any crushing circuit.

Another Pair of McCloskey S190 (20×5) Inclined screens are also used on the same site as the Powerstacker Conveyors and R230’s Reclaimers. The complete plant is able to screen and stockpile up to 20,000 tonnes of Iron Ore Fines Every 24 hours.

The Powerstacker Conveyors supplied in Australia by 888CSE meet Australian Standards for Structural Design, Electrical Design and Guarding. Each Powertacker Conveyor is supplied fully assembled with vulcanised belts at 888CSE’s Perth depot by factory trained engineeers. Each Powerstacker Conveyor is fully test run and then folded up ready for road transport to site, where it can be used virtually immediately after delivery. A soft start unit can also be installed on the Powerstacker Conveyor if required.
